Everyone thinks that a profitable and valuable digital product is this unique idea that nobody has ever done before. It has to be this thing that comes to you in this flash of inspiration, like Uber or Airbnb that nobody had ever created and that has no competitors already and that’s not true.

To set yourself up for future growth when things are slow is the best opportunity to work on your business rather than just trying to do busy tasks that make you feel like you’re being productive but that don’t have any long-term results on your business.  

I had a few people when my business grew really quickly in 2020. I had a few people refer to me as an overnight success and it was kind of funny because I’d already been in business for four years at that point.

2018 feels like a long time ago and it was a completely different life. At that time I was running a marketing agency with my small team and we were working with those retainer clients when I launched the podcast, that was really the start of Steph Taylor.
