Let's talk about six reasons why your audience isn't buying from you. And none of these reasons has anything to do with your product itself, because there are plenty of reasons why somebody might not buy your product.

Why your audience isn't buying your digital product
Sometimes yes, it is to do with the fact that maybe your product doesn't solve a problem or doesn't deliver a transformation or maybe it's just something that nobody wants. Sure, those reasons are valid. But then sometimes there are other reasons why somebody might not buy from you that have nothing at all to do with your product. Your product is just fine. There are other things that you need to change. And often it's that you're just not getting it in front of enough of the right people.
#1 – Your audience has no money
Selling to broke business owners versus selling to ones with money is a very different ball game. Yes, it's admirable that you want to help the people who don't have money, but you can help them with your free content. You can't help anyone with your free content if you aren't making money and you aren't staying in business and you're going broke and have to go to a job. And then, you don't have time to create free content. So by selling to people who do have money to spend, you can bring enough money into your business, keep it viable so that you can keep producing free content for the ones who don't have money to spend.
#2 – There's a mismatch between the people in your audience and the people who actually want and need what you're selling
You need to get out there and find the people who want and need what you're selling because for as long as you're selling to people who don't want and need what you're selling, they're not going to buy.
#3 – Your audience is not ready to solve the problem that your product solves
Or perhaps they're not willing to pay money to solve the problem just yet, or maybe they don't even know that they have a problem yet. In whichever case, you need to get them to the point where they are ready, or you need to get out there and find people who are ready.
#4 – You simply just don't have the numbers yet
Maybe your audience is buying, but just not enough people. You just don't have enough people in your audience to buy and to get those launch results that you're after and make the impact that you want to make. You're not getting a launch in front of enough people yet. And the only solution to this is to grow your audience with the right people.
#5 – Your audience just doesn't trust you yet
It can take a little bit of nurturing to get somebody to the point where they are ready to buy from you. Some people bought Launch Magic after they'd been following me for years and hadn't bought anything of mine. And a lot of the time they were actually people who'd been really quiet in my audience. So, I didn't even know they existed until they bought Launch Magic. So be patient, but also do make sure that you are actively nurturing everyone new who comes into your audience.
#6 – Your audience doesn't actually know that you have anything to sell them
Seriously, you need to actively be reminding people what products you sell and who they're for and why they need them. I'm not great at doing this. Some people are really good at doing this. Some people will constantly be seeding their products throughout their content, throughout their free content. I could be a lot better at this, so don't copy my example.
