In the last two blogs – Part 1 and Part 2 – we looked at the first six ways to grow your audience without paying for Facebook Ads. Today, we're looking at reasons 7 to 9. So, make sure if you haven't read those first two parts, you go back and give them a read, because there are some pretty awesome suggestions in there for ways that you can grow your audience without paying for Facebook Ads, because I know not everyone has the budget for it, and that's all good. You don't need to spend money on Facebook Ads until you're ready to.

Growing your business audience without using Facebook Ads
7. Pitch to teach a masterclass or workshop inside someone’s paid course or membership
For example, a really good friend of mine, Clare Wood recently just pitched me to teach a Money Mindset class inside my Launch Magic Program because Money Mindset is super related to your Launching Mindset. Clare kind of joined the dots and she reached out to me and she said, “Steph, I'd love to teach your students.” For me, it was a no brainer. Of course, I want my students to learn about having a healthy mindset around money. So I brought her in to teach to them. For you, this might look to somebody in your industry or somebody who has a similar audience of people who you're trying to reach and figuring out how you can add value to those people's lives. Bonus points if you're teaching to somebody's paid course or paid membership, because the people who you're trying to teach through there, they understand the value of paying for things. So you're really attracting high quality leads by getting in front of these people.
8. Ask your social media followers to introduce you to a friend
In Part 2, I talked about asking your email subscribers to recommend you to a friend. In this blog, I'm just talking about asking your social media followers. Simply putting up a post, or sharing a story, or even DM-ing somebody who's an engaged follower and just asking, “Hey, do you know anyone else who would benefit from what I'm teaching or what I'm sharing on social media? If you do, I would love it if you could please tell them about it.” That's all it is. We don't want to inconvenience people by asking so we don't ask, but we're leaving so much on the table, so much potential growth on the table by not asking.
9. Reach out and start a conversation with five people who you've been lurking online
Build a genuine friendship with them. Get to know them. I've made some amazing friends who I originally met on Instagram. Just by reaching out, getting chatting to them, eventually we went and had a coffee or a wine. And we've built our friendships this way. Over the long term, we've kind of built each other's audiences this way by sharing each other's content and giving them shout outs when they need it. So yes, making real friendships is a long-term game, but it is so worth it not just for the audience growth, but for the support, for the community, for just being surrounded by epic humans who are doing similar things to you. So reach out to five people who you've been lurking online, even if you're a little bit scared to, even if you're a little bit intimidated by them. The worst that can happen is they say no, or they don't reply. That's the absolute worst that can happen.
So there you have it, three more ways to grow your audience without paying for Facebook Ads.
